Establish the future fan base of the Chicago Bears with attractive, eye-catching outdoor media.

Action

Rather than invest $30k in a single painted wall for a single month, Effective hired four street artists to paint "interactive outdoor" murals. 

Success

Based on the amount of exposure, including writeups in Adweek, the Bears calculated the value on their spend to be 120x of the initial $30k investment. 

The program was so successful that the Bears ran the program for four consecutive years.

The idea was so inspiring that it spawned the creation of muros.com, a creative agency focused on outdoor murals.

Challenge

Drive measurable trial and coupon redemption for Rice Krispies Treats Dunk'd bars at the height of the pandemic.

Action

With a small media budget and a limited distribution of participating convenience stores, Effective targeted category buyers and convenience store retailers. By using quick product-education messages and mobile coupons, we were able to transform sales-lift analyses to better understand in-store results. 

Success

A Koupon Media report showed product sales increased by nearly 12% over the pre-campaign period.

A GSTV/IRI report showed significant results across different retailers:

  • 1.2% uplift at Walmart

  • 1.4% uplift in convenience stores

  • 1.6% uplift in grocery stores

Starting from the insight that potential buyers are unaware of Bicycle's limited-edition NFTs and their avenues for purchase, Effective used Facebook and Instagram to surround the target audience with messaging to drive them to the NFT site.  

Success

In just three weeks, the campaign saw an incredible amount of interest: 

  • 65k+ clicks to the NFT sale site

  • 66 Etherium sold at a value of $264k

  • A Return on Ad Spend of 712%

Reinvent the category of garage-door openers by elevating the importance of a connected garage as an integral part of a smart home. 

Action

Develop a media plan that identifies behavior and life-stage events that trigger interest in garage-door technology, including searches for home-security systems, smart-home automation products, home buying/selling, and home-improvement or DIY projects. 

Effective developed dynamic banner ads that enabled users to engage with product information prior to visiting the brand's site.

Success

Performance well outstripped engagement goals:

  • 5.1M brand engagements on a 0.2M goal

  • 10.7% engagement rate on a 1.25% goal

  • $0.04 Cost Per Engagement on a $0.89 CPE goal 

In addition, sales of MyQ Garage products rose 7.2%.
